The Trip Chronology

Aug 27-Thursday -Drove to Grandview Campground outside of Big Pine.

Aug 28 - Friday -  Photography M.B. with Mr. Luker & hiked in  ancient  Bristlecone Forest at Shulman and Patriarch Groves - Slept  under stars with the Marmots and Owls at Barcroft Lab's locked gate next to trail start

Aug 29 - Saturday - Hiked 14-mi round trip to White Mountain Pk, 14,246' peak.  GREAT HIKE!!! The first 14'er for all the crew! We   were buzzed by a glider when at the top. On trip back to Grandview had Mr. Rozelle's first flat tire.

Aug 30 - Sunday - headed home.   Finally back at 4:15 after Mr. Rozelle's spare went bad and Mr. Fischer's engine light lit up....
