All Night Bowling/Sleep-Over Outing

2/12 to 2/13/1999

As a backup plan for a cancelled backpack trip the venture crew decided to go to the Woodlake Bowling Alley from 10pm to 2 am Friday night to Saturday morning and afterwards would head to my house where everyone would spend the night.

We arrived at the bowling alley around 10pm and rented 3 lanes.  The bowling was really fun since all the lights had been turned out except for some lights that were at the ends of the lanes lighting up the pins.  Everyone had fun, I don't think anybody was really concerned with their scores, but everyone had fun.  Then a little after 2am we headed for my house.

When we got to my house in the middle of nowhere, we played Twister, woke up my brother, talked, played a game were you had to match words (Taboo), and then we went to sleep (after a brief pillow attach on the boys by the girls - the boys covered for the noise when Mr. Rozelle came down to quiet us down).  The boys were downstairs in the family room, the girls were upstairs in the living room.

The next morning we had bacon and eggs and packed, then we played a game of Charades.   Overall I think everyone had a fun time
