Plan & Prepare Food for trip

Identify needed equipment and acquire for the trip

Determine special food needs for crew & leaders going
(i.e. vegetarian, allergies, etc)

Collect possible recipes/menus for trip

trial runs on recipes a good idea - meeting/backpack/other outings

Prepare menus for trip & review with crew/leaders

Coordinate purchase of food & pre-packaging for use on trip

Prepare duty rosters for cooking/cleaning/etc.

 

Horsemanship/Horsepacking

 Identify gear necessary or desired for trip

 determine best way to provide

 

Backpacking

Inventory Crew Backpack Equipment

stoves

water purifiers

cooking gear

Inventory Personal  Backpack gear expected to be brought along
